The History of our Church
The origin of the Eagle Creek Church takes us back to 1903 when the Reverend Levi Johnson visited the vicinity. On August 23, 1903 he organized an unofficial Presbyterian congregation. On April 3, 1904 he organized the Sunday School. After a petition was circulated for the organization of a Presbyterian Church in the community, action was approved and ratified by the Presbytery and the church was organized on January 21, 1906.
The Eagle Creek Presbyterian Church has been providing ministry in the community since 1903. The Church is a closely knit congregation that radiates the warmth of a small country church. We have a strong commitment to reaching out to each other and to our community through Christ’s love.
